I have done home instruction for students in the district I work in. I have done a lot of 1:1 teaching as a teaching assistant. I was a teacher's assistant in West Islip for three years. I am currently a substitute teacher in West Islip schools. I want to be a tutor because it gives me an opportunity to help students in a 1:1 environment that allows me to really give a lot of information and tips on how to succeed in social studies.
